Anyone tried this program? I've been just doing my own thing in the gym since I started going last year. I think I need to get on a program to break through my plateau, and came across this one. I'm 5'6", about 160#. Been doing well tracking my macros, but just not seeing the results I want.

Thanks to this board for all your knowledge! I usually don't stray far from the Outdoor Board, but been lurking here for a while and have learned a lot.

I actually don't stray from here but lurk the OB lol. I use to post more in there.

As far as FST 7, I really liked it for a bodybuilding program. It will make you very sore but it was my go to for a pure bodybuilding routine.

i agree with HFP, its a very good strictly bodybuilding program. Its not what I would choose for most people though as its a more advanced program imo, but if you put the work in and progress on your lifts wit either reps or weight every workout, you will have success with it.

you might want to check out the gainz compilation post on here that list plenty of programs.

If my goal is mainly hypertrophy, what would be your choice of program?

FST 7 would be my choice for pure hypertrophy. German volume training is good too but very taxing. FST 7 is similar enough anyway to GVT but more reasonable workouts.

I personally believe that gains in strength equals gains in size so i tend more towards the intensity side of the equation. But if all i cared about was hypertrophy, fst-7 would be up there. Personally I would pick one of the John meadows programs or the dual factor bodybuilding program I posted on here. FST7 or the kinobody superhero program would be my third choice.

Meadows programs

dual factor program

kinobody programs

I agree. The best bodybuilders were also powerlifters prior or did the main movements to extreme strength levels.
