Mother has Medicare and Tricare. She gets most of her medicine from Express Scripts. They drive me crazy with the calls and texts. Do you really save money on medications than using your neighborhood pharmacy? Is there a way to check express scripts prices with your neighborhood pharmacy?

Express scripts is the PBM (pharmacy benefits manager). They decide what is covered for your insurance company. You’ll often get better prices with them when choosing the 90 day supply. My last insurance company we had required us to use them for refills. FWIW I never had an issue with them and it was really easy getting an actual human on the phone when we needed.

Opt out of text and emails but you have to call or order online at least 2 weeks before you need them. They suck arse but some prices are cheaper than local. Check the GoodRX price vs everyone else and go from there.

Elon needs to automat that and have a better system.
