Everyday Essentials bumper plates
Posted by Aristo on 6/26/20 at 5:36 pm20
Just ordered some Wal-Mart brand colored bumper plates. Figured they were cheap enough to make it until Rep or Rouge starts restocking. I'll be the guinea pig and let you all know how they hold up.

Probably made in the same Chinese Factory as Rogue. You just saved money not paying for the name.

WTF is a mil-spec bumper lol?!? Is it the bumpers they are using for the new ACFT?

Correct. They’re made by HiTemp but slightly different than their crumb rubber plates. The diameter is the same as comp plates.

Maybe so. They had good reviews.

I was looking at the reviews on the Walmart website and I laughed when I saw people were getting bumpers labeled with Hulkfit and WawaFit. Just goes to show you they’re all coming from the same factory.
The Hulkfit and Everyday Essential bumpers look exactly identical. I haven’t dug in to see the price difference though.

I saw a picture for an Everyday Essentials power rack that had hulk fit plates. Guessing it's one of those Walmart strong-arm deals

Titan currently has 15, 25, & 45 lb black bumpers available for back order - will take about a month to ship though (by 8/18).

Not impressed by the mil-spec bumpers. Look sloppily made and are oily. And they seem to bounce way more than the regular Hi-Temps. Only good thing is they are sturdier than other 15# plates I’ve seen. Look more like the Hi-Temp 25# plates the have the beveled edge.
