I recently switched over from BCAAs to EAAs, and was wondering, since I adhere to an intermittent fasting schedule everyday, when is the optimal time(s) to take them during my fasting window?

For example, I took a full serving of PerfectAminoXP this morning before my workout, as I’ve heard that’s recommended for a pre workout, especially when in a fasted state. My fasting window began at 10pm last night, and is still unbroken. Not sure when I want to break it yet so that’s what brought me here with these concerns. I was thinking about taking another serving, but wasn’t sure if that’s recommended this deep into a fast. Also, on days I workout, should I take the 2nd serving soon after or is it fine to wait a few hours like I am doing currently? Or does that not matter?

On non workout days I’ll probably try to take a half serving when I wake up, and another half at midday. Might up that to 1 full serving each time, but I also don’t want to spend too much each month on supplements and these EAAs in particular were around $40 for 30 servings (powder form), which can add up if I’m taking multiple servings each day.

Would appreciate some input from the resident health/fitness board experts

Citrulline, B-Alanine, L-Carnitine, and Arginine (not needed if taking Citrulline) are believed to not cause an insulin response- this doesn't mean they don't break fast, but this is what I use on my fasted workouts. BTW, you should mix your own preworkouts... You are getting hosed by the price.
