Has anyone tried this form of therapy? Waiting on my insurance to say they’ll pay for it but I’m kind of anxious.

Should be covered. Just find a therapist certified in Emdr.

I’m considering getting certified in it as a therapist in the next couple of years. At first I thought it might be BS but there’s some good evidence behind it’s outcomes, particularly for folks who have experienced trauma.

When looking for a therapist, check into one that is not just trained but certified in EMDR. Psychology Today could help with finding one in your area that takes your insurance.
