Anyone have any experience with this?

My wife had hiatal hernia surgery in December 2020.
Before she got it exercise was extremely tough for her. She couldn't do anything without getting extremely winded very quickly.
She is not big. She is 5'5" about 110. I found this very unusual.
Since the surgery she can ride her bike farther, can lift weights, and just generally can be more active without feeling like she is dying.
All that to answer the question, my wife is the only person I know who had a hiatal hernia, and she had great difficulty working out before the fundoplication.

Yes.
I’ve had one for years and never had an issues lifting or doing cardio.
That being said, it’s become quite the problem when it’s time to vacuum or mop.
