Yea just keep it simple right now. Do this 5 days a week for about 3 more months then we can adjust as needed

So only pushups and chinups for 12 weeks? No burpees, no nothing?

Will probs be 3-4x a week. That still ok?

frick it, I think I'm getting confused here. Can yiu just write down 'the program' you're suggesting for me?

I've got like 20 minutes a day to do stuff. Thanks man. Sorry for the miscommunication!

So, on the Iron Cross routine. Do I stop when I get to 10 reps or seconds or do I keep trying to advance reps and time while I am waiting to master other exercises?

Yea

Pushups and chins- 10 sets to failure supersetted together

Squats- 200 reps for time

Burpees- follow this

Start with handstand holds- 2 min total time to start. Add 30s per week.

Keep adding until you conquer all the exercises in the week. Then move to the next week.

Thanks. I can do just about all of the excersizes in phase 1 but I'm afraid the muscle up negative alone is going to keep me parked here a while. I just wanted to know if I should advance on everything else while waiting.

That takes too much time though?

Pushups and chins- 10 sets to failure supersetted together - 20 minutes

Squats- 200 reps for time - 5-15 minutes

Burpees- follow this - 5 mins

Start with handstand holds- 2 min total time to start. Add 30s per week. - 2 mins plus

How about this setup?

Rotate:

A.
Chins
Pushups
Optional squats

B.
Pullups
Pushups (progress to hspu later)
Optional squats

10 rounds.
Each set to failure.
1 minute between sets.
VC1 progressions done daily as well, but separate to the above.

Something like that? What would you do differently here?

Than do 100 squats for time if need be. Honestly how do you only have 20 min all day?

But what you have laid out will work fine. At your level it's less about the programming and more about just getting the work done.

Full time job. Young family with a newborn in the house.

Cool thanks. Currently hitting 20 chinups in a row and 50 pushups. Will stick with this until I hit 100 pushups now.

Dude I have 3 boys, oldest is 7 and I work 50+ hours a week. You have plenty of time with only one kid, just have to figure it out.

So since you asked, I wasn't going to throw these out there cause they are hard as frick but here are the other bodyweight greyskull challenges:

Vc#8- 500 consecutive full depth bodyweight squats

VC#9- 100 full sit-ups to army pt standards in 2 min.

Vc#10- hold an l-sit on parrallettes for 3 min straight

Vc#11- to be attempted after VC#3 has been completed. Weighted incline pushups off of 20" box with 45 lbs. 50 reps without knees touching the ground to complete the challenge.

VC#16- to be attempted after completion of VC#3 & VC#11. Complete 60 bodyweight dips

Happy Training.
