I had back surgery and have now finally finished my physical therapy. I want to get back in the gym with a trainer - at least in the short term - to insure my form is good (especially for leg exercises) as well as general support. What's a fair price per session? TIA.

Are you in LA or Tx? Ball park hourly rate in LA is probably around $40-$60. I would definitely look for one that has a Exercise science degree and has a background in Corrective exercise and functional training. You just want to ensure that the trainer has a sound background in anatomy and biomechanics.

Someone skilled in post rehab corrective exercise and qualified to work with someone like you is gonna run closer to 65-85 a hour.
