I had a buddy use acupuncture for it and had positive things to say. I'm looking into it because I'm dealing with the same thing

Go to PT and get dry needling, same thing and work on strengthening lower back muscles

I’m doing this now.
It’s working.
Dry needling is a humbling experience.

Need lumbar stabilizing exercises as well to help as well

I've used dry needling for various things. It can most definitely relieve symptoms. But it doesn't really address causes.
The only thing I've seen that really seems to look at root causes is Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT)
As far as I can tell - it works.

Chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy help mine. You might also try stretching the piriformis muscle

I hit the chiropractor every other week, been thru PT a few times and still do stretches at home. But nothing has proven to be very effective for a significant period of time.

Yoga fixed mine in 3 days

I do not have sciatica. However I have a rod in my humerus from a car accident. I was living in St Paul and the cold was causing severe aches. I tried acupuncture. The pain left and never returned.
