Use with care. It is legitimately addictive. Like physically addictive. At least that was the experience of someone I know who used it to help curb his opiate addiction. He ended up pretty hooked on kratom. That being said: anything in moderation.

Not saying it’s not addicting but I think anything you use as a crutch to get over opiate addiction is easy to get addicted to.
