Audible pop. People around me heard it.
Unbelievably intense pain right when it happened. But went away very quickly. Pain was gone so quickly that I actually went back to playing a little while later (was playing pick up soccer).
I tore the ACl and meniscus which I think is a very common way to do it. Knee would randomly give out and buckle just from walking around in the following weeks, but there still really wasn’t much pain. I waited way too long (months) to finally get it checked out.

Intense burning pain for about a minute and then no pain.

Same here. I was skiing and took a spill so adrenaline probably kicked in for me. Had to get back down the mountain.
I was thinking maybe just a small meniscus tear so I waited about a month to get it checked out. I was still working out and everything but would have some pain. Any straight walking/jogging was no pain or issues but the second I would turn I would have sharp pain and almost collapse.

My tear was confirmed the a few days later but it happened in football season and the orthos wwre booked.
Surgery was 6 weeks later.
I had minimal pain and swelling after the tear but it was unstable.
