ACDF Surgery

I've recently undergone (one week ago) anterior cervical disc fusion surgery-one level. I was hoping to hear if anybody could give me some input on what I should expect over the next 3 to 5 weeks? My pain is subsiding and I'm off the pain pills and just on tylenol. I'm starting to feel a little bit better from the surgery and maybe getting a little stir crazy here at home. I'm hoping to go sit at a desk at work (limited sitting) in the next week or so. Can anyone give me a timeline of recovery and what kind of pain I can expect to continue?

Is this the one where they remove and fuse in the neck? If so, my Dad had that done about a decade back. He was back at work within a week, but he's a physician so not really sitting at a desk much. I can't recall if he had to do any PT, I think it was just the healing and dealing with pain for a little bit from the surgery. He has a smaller range of motion on his neck from it, but other than that he's had no other complications. Seems like it is a pretty routine thing now. I think he said they used a cadaver hip bone as part of the fusion, but they may be using manmade materials in these now.
