Day 31
Completed the "12 Pulls of Deadcember" this morning. This was a fun one with all the different accessories. However, it's cold as hell (16° wind chill and dropping). Plan on doing one more workout Thursday morning and then taking a 2 day break before testing my 1RM again.
I know it was only 3 of us, but I still enjoyed it.

Day 30 - PR Party
Let’s get right to it I pulled 325 for my really first ever attempt at a deadlift PR.
Used 300 for training max so 108% and some decimals… thought I had 330 and maybe could have but few inches off ground bailed
Since I got back into weights 3 yrs ago after turning 40 dead’s have always been my least favorite, done them but never enjoyed them. Didn’t know what to expect a whole month of them and had doubts I would even make it this far but after Squatober had some confidence and said what the hell let’s give it a go.
It’s been fun and glad I joined in, we all on our own journeys so not really mad at my PR wish it was higher but glad to have some homies keeping me accountable throughout the month.
Cheers to Deadcember and year ahead

Day 31 done & that’s a wrap. Little under 40 minutes to get through, didn’t really have rest timer just change weights and when felt ready.
Got all workouts in, little behind schedule these last few but better late than never.
Wasn’t real excited for this one after PR yesterday and changing weights throughout but glad I did it and now I can wear my shorts and shirt proudly.
Cheers fellas

PR Redemption Day
I wasn't satisfied with my PR on 12/30 when I was out of town. I ran IG post '1000 Reps Vol 8 DB Edition' on 1/2 (my legs were jello afterwards). It has 4×25 goblet squats and 5x10 (each leg) RFESS. Then took off on 1/3 and 1/4 to drive home (1300 miles).
Today went in for a PR redo. Happy with the results! Hit 380 on deadlift which was the TM I was using. That a 30# increase over last year. I also tested bench and squat. Hit 245 on bench (20# increase) and 325 on squat (10# increase since Squatober).
Overall a combined 1RM of 950#. Very pleased since today is exactly 2 years since I started lifting.
