What’s your diet?

Keto and variations thereof. Most of the weight lost doing regular keto, then evolved to CKD/Carb Nite keto, then regular again, then got real lazy the past 6 months, and now back to regular keto.

Basically went from 305ish to 230 in a few months, then spent a couple years recomping and bouncing from as low as 215 to 225-228 or so. On Jan 1, I was like 244 but as of today I'm 230.8 and back in the gym consistently.

But not always. And if you are looking to get a really aesthetic physique, then it almost never works.

As I've read somewhere else, "Dieting helps you look good in clothes, exercise makes you look good out of clothes."

You can't out-train a bad diet.

Oh yes you can. People that eat 10k calories a day for training can eat 5k of terrible food and lose weight.
