I’d try and pass Stadium course and hit Gold Canyon Dinosaur Mtn, Quintero, or Sunridge Canyon instead.

All are superior to that overpriced subpar course.

Either Grayhawk course or Troon course is also superior to TPC.

You’ll have fun regardless.

Agreed, Stadium is very meh. The last few holes are fun but a lot of the holes are cookie cutter long par 4s. It was built to host a tournament with grandstands, and it’s obvious

Just a suggestion. I live in Scottsdale and have played a number of the courses including Troon. Many golfers, if they are playing the desert courses, carry a "rock iron" to use if you find yourself off the fairway and in the rocks. I carry an old 5 iron and don't worry about getting it nicked.

Also, some courses actually have rattlesnake warnings posted, so use good judgement.

One other quick comment. Many of the courses are starting over seeding the winter rye. I played this morning at Scottsdale Silverado and they have scalped the tee boxes in prep for the over seeding. Just saying.
