Played Copper Mill today. Shot well (84), but not as good as Monday ( 79). The rain did the course good. It was in better shape today.

LaTour is in great shape. Wish I could have played 18. Ready for the weekend. Might go out tomorrow and work some short game.

The hole out for birdie with a borrowed wedge, shortsided with the green sloping away says to me your short game is in pretty good shape.

Nice! Wish I could go again, but have to “coach” PGA Jr league this evening. First match for my middle son.

I’m ok with where my game is going into the ship. Driver was damn near perfect yesterday. Had the putter rolling. Need to sharpen up the irons a bit, but I know what I was doing wrong. Need to shoot 164 or less for the 2 rounds to have a shot.

What’s a 164 net you in two days. Just off the top of my head 138 Has been a pretty good number in the past. It’s the second day that is the toughest. Seen many people crumble.

I think I’m sucking 14/ea, per the TBAGS handicap, so that would net me -8. (Par of 144)

Legacy Ridge Country Club
Bonham, TX
Conditions were reasonable considering how hot it has been.

I’m new to the game, probably played less than 20 rounds in my life, so don’t judge my 91 today. Good news is I was only plus 5 on the back, and birdied 18. I’ll take it.

Played Oak Harbor yesterday. Course is in good shape. Had a discounted rate because they sanded the greens, but they still rolled fairly decent. They should be in really good shape in a week or so.

81 at Old Colony. Course other than the bunkers and near where the are thinking trees is good.

The bunkers are shite though, cost me 5 shots today.

for Baton Rougers, I played Graystone in Denham Springs on Wednesday and it was in great shape. The recent rains have made the grass explode. No 90 degree rule at that time.
Greens were pretty good but probably not over 10 on the Stimp meter. Fairways were lush and mowed well. Rough was medium length and consistent.

Only second time I have ever played there so no homer here.

Played Snee Farm CC in MT Pleasant, SC this afternoon with a member.

It rained non stop and I shot a 53 on 9 then we called it a day.

Nice course, but golfing in the rain ain’t easy.

Walked 9 at Pelican Lakes. It was really nice over there. No wind. A little sand on two greens. A couple bunkers could have used a little help. Nice round over there.
