Honestly I moved to Yonex and much prefer the setup over Ventus
But at the end of the day just go see a good fitter and get dialed in

Tader, I think the blue has the best feel and I will switch to it.
I loved the OG white board too.

If you need to demo these shafts, go to Schneider’s Golf Mechanics in Baton Rouge.
Thanks! Going tomorrow.

Which Ventus is most OG WB like with maybe a little more feel?
Black in the latest + version but I would hit the Blue as well, both are good

Blue was spinning a bit more for me. So peak height went up. Carry dropped slightly. You should def go run thru them though. It’s fun to see what each shaft does. Just be ready to get tired. You’ll hit more drivers in that fitting than you do in 2 years!

Sometimes I believe that we all get too hung up on spin numbers on trackman.
The Ei 70 shaft 30 years ago probably had over a 100 wins on tour but if it were compared to today's shafts it would spin off the charts.
The question most of us over 40 should ask ourselves is if we are as strong off the 18th tee as we were off of # 1 and fit ourselves accordingly.

No doubt!
I went in assuming the red would be best for me, but I couldn’t hit it. I ended up getting fit for the velocore+ black 6S.

Amazing. You did that at Schneider’s? The red was interesting for me. Was trying 6-X red and it came off super low. Black 6-S felt great for me too. But 6-X black was on point!

Yeah. My swing isn’t much, just 100 mph clubhead speed, but apparently I have a pretty rapid transition. The other shafts just weren’t stable enough for me. With the black, I feel like I can turn over the club face as hard and as fast as I can, and it still won’t hook.
I’m looking forward to some range testing, to see how it does versus the sim.

Same it’s a great feeling knowing it won’t go left, I’m not a fan of it in fairways or hybrids in any color, the Black + is great in the driver though and I played the OG Blue forever.
