I agree the PGA Tour has not done a great job of dipping into certain markets like Australia that would have been great but let’s not pretend that it’s solely a US sport.
As far as the tourney this week, it does look like a lot of fun. You know the tourney runners have to be hoping for a bad round from Gooch tonight but I’m going to guess ratings will be terrible stateside once again.

Well of course ratings will be bad here when it’s on at 10pm Friday night.
F1 ratings were bad in the US for years - the point being is that the US market isn’t the only market.
I routinely watch the international events early on golf channel and it is rare for them to have a large gallery.

I just mean that Talor Gooch up by 10 shots is not what LIV is hoping for. If you take him out it’s a great tournament.
But as everyone else says. It just feels so exhibition like. Su Ann is wearing a Cam Smith shirt while interviewing him which is absurd
More events like this will only be better for LIV. Probably need to do 2-3 events in Australia

Yeah Gooch lapping the field isn't good for them. The Team scores are tight but the Aussie team is dead last - not what they wanted at all.
Australia isn't that big maybe 2 events a year max.
Let's play this out for 12 events

2 USA South /Mexico Texas/Florida/Arizona [Spring around The Masters]

That was a very entertaining final round, I think you can now see how the team thing adds interest. It was back and forth almost the whole day. Players drinking beer out of fans shoes, and the Aussie fans were amazing. I think you will see more people show up at the events left here. Now that a bunch of people see the party atmosphere it will attract people that wouldn’t ordinarily go to a golf tournament.

Golf was awesome this weekend. Course looked great and crowd was rocking. I think this might be the start of something great
