Played today for the first time and it lived up to the hype. Course condition is overall in great shape. Fairways were great but the greens looked nice but were slow. Nice layout as well. The mosquitos were in full force. Aeration is planned for next week but well worth the drive from Houston.

I play the course often and love it.

Im playing there this coming Saturday in the Crawfish tournament.

Unfortunately I didn't make it.

Had a procedure done on my back.

Played again yesterday, fairways are even better than a month ago. Greens were the same, they looked great and rolled true but were on the slow side.

Last time I played out there it was in good shape but I remember them having hog issues

There were a couple of hog traps but I didn’t see any obvious damage. They can really screw up a course.
