We have a guys tripped planned for early December, and we are planning to play The Preserve twice. Interesting time for a golf trip, but it's the only time we could get everyone's schedules lined up.

Has anyone played golf in the Biloxi area in December? Just trying to get somewhat of read on what to expect for the conditions of the course and weather. We were thinking it wouldn't be too cold since it's on the gulf coast.

I know this doesn't help as far as time of year but we had a guys golf trip that played 36 at preserve last weekend and the course was in incredible shape. Will be winter golf like normal in south LA/MS but still should be good shape.

The club's pro didn't mention anything about renovations on the course when told him our dates and set up our time. Would you happen to have any links that could lead me to some research on a renovation?

Depends how much rain and cold weather we get. We played an event there the 1st of last December and it was great. Weather permitting your trip should be fine!

Our weather is pretty mild in December, you should be fine. The rain will be the kicker.

According to the Pro, they aren't doing any renovations at all this Winter. Appreciate the input from everyone. We aren't a picky group anyways, just looking to have a few drinks and lose a few golf balls.

Doesn’t matter what time of the year they won’t have a lot of grass on their greens but they will be fast when top dressed that much to keep the grain down.
