LIV vs. PGA at this point is so fricking annoying, get the best players on the course more than 3 times a year.

Funny. It’s the LIV concept to always have them play together. I know the PGA changed a bit with the signature events but originally LIV wanted less events but all the top players in every event.

It is up to PGA/Jay to make that happen. LIV is ready to make a deal, but LIV will still have their own events. Maybe they can invite Jupiter Links GC & LA GC to play in them

The PGA seemed to have weathered the storm. There were zero main players that jumped this past offseason and it seems like LIV is dying on the vine.

I know they have the most FU money of all time backing them up, but I do wonder how much longer PIF will continue to lose billions on a failed endeavor.

If the PGA’s stance is “let’s wait for LIV to die”, then we will be waiting for a while. Jay needs to go

Jay isn't going to make a deal. He's going to continue to stall LIV/PIF until either A) the money runs dry from FSG, and/or 2) the big name guys like Koepka/Bryson's contracts expire with LIV and try to get them back on Tour.

It's all been a bullshite rouse by Jay to get LIV to pause or drop the lawsuits before the Tour went bankrupt.

There’s really only two or three guys that would make a Tour event more interesting. I say let them stay where they’re at tbh

LIV doesn’t have to have a 14 event schedule. They’re just doing that now bc their guys can’t play PGA events

Here is a great concept of what a merger could look like, but Jay & others don’t want to do it

it sucked because the tour was loaded with talent pre-liv and in a great place.

that said, there is always new golf talent and unless LIV is going to continue shilling cash out while getting dick for ratings, they are all going to go the tour

Why would they do that? There's literally no benefit to the tour in that scenario, and LIV would get everything they want.

And there aren't 10 players from LIV that the Tour needs.

You’re asking this question in a thread titled “we need to get all the best players back together”

I responded to your thoughts thinking that twitter screenshot was a "great concept for a merger".

Rahm
bryson
Cam smith
brooks (he only really cared about majors so even that was a stretch since he is 35)
niemann

After that it isn't much, the pga tour does have a good bit of under 30 guys that are starting to round out.
