I've played this tract probably a dozen times but haven't within the last 10 years. Wondering if anyone else here has recently (within 2 years or so). Have been thinking about giving it another go and wonder if it's still in good shape.

This is the single hardest course I think I've ever played and want to try again before I'm too old to give it a last fair shot. It's kicked my arse 12 out of 12 times.

TIA

It's good. It's worth it. Also, play Landa Park.

Best advice I can give. Pay very close attention to the fairway death traps. A striped drive means nothing. Play to the angle and where you'll end up, not what you're aiming for.

For example, Hole 1, target should be to the extreme left side even if you think too far left is an issue. Down the middle and it will run a mile into the junk with a tough out. Tee off last and take your boys money.

Same idea for the next 85-135 shots.

I played it about 10 years ago, but honestly I don't remember it.

Bring this to the top. I'm playing this course the coming weekend. Never played there before. Has anyone played there recently? If so, how are the course conditions?

I played Landa and Tapitio last fall on my trip to Hill Country, thanks Bopper for recommending Landa. I enjoyed both, very different for me since I play basically below sea level down here.

Played this morning. A fun tract, for sure. Hit fairways amd you will be fine. Tee to green, the course was in good shape, at least for a public course that I'm sure gets abused and over-played. Greens weren't bad, but not great. A little slow and bumpy for my liking, but I've played much worse. Overall good day.
