Playing Squire Creek in La. next weekend. Family BDay thing at the club (not blood) and they’re getting tee times.

Anyone play here? Advice?

The course is not extremely difficult off of the tee but can be very penal if you miss the green on the wrong side. The greens are like putting on glass and have alot of undulation. The course in general has alot of elevation changes throughout. The bunkers are very deep and if you hit it in the fairway bunkers it is almost like taking a penalty stroke. It is a course that takes many of times playing it to know your way around. Good luck and enjoy it. Nothing else like it in LA.

Best course in Louisiana and it ain’t even close.

You don’t need driver on many of the P4s. Take less club…keep it in play and hit the green.

Par3’s - get yardage to back of green and make sure you can’t go past that yardage.

Spend some time on the practice green prior to the round. Their greens book is legit

There is some elevation so a range finder that calcs elevation is helpful.
