I saw the MGS review and numbers that it was the longest ball. I decided to get a dz and put it through its paces.

About me…
•Titleist GT3 8.25* w Tour AD VF 6S. •Depending on the time of year and course, I usually play the ProV1X, ProV1X LD, and Maxfli Tour X. (Also did some 2026 Chrome Tour X testing).
•108 to 111 Club head. Up 2.5 to 4.5 AOA. Ball speed 159 to 164.

PR4 Positives
-It’s a long golf ball. No 2 ways about it.
-It launches high
-Very durable. I have raw vokeys and didn’t see much scuffing

PR4 Negatives
-It feels horrible. Almost like a rubber “super ball” core.
-Similar to MGS findings, the dispersion (with irons) seemed wider.

Not sure it’s go in the bag, I still have more testing to do. I’m just so sold on Titleist quality control, that changing balls would be tough. As far as a budget option vs Maxfli, it’s more than serviceable.

Hope this helps. I can provide Callaway Chrome Tour X feedback as well if anyone is wondering.

Thanks for the review.

From what I have read, it sounds like the P3 would be the best option for the average player.

I like the Snell story and wish them success in the long run.

Their quality control issues a few years ago really cost them.

I put a black sharpie line on my ball. It didn’t smudge as easy as with other balls. Don’t know if that’s a good thing or not.

Not sure about that.

I'm rooting for Snell.

Once you have played it more, love to hear more.
