Simulator set up help

I have an opening in my media room that I want to put a simulator enclosure in.
It is 9'10" Width x 8'11" Height
I was looking at Indoor Golf Shop enclosures. They have standard sizes such as:
Sig 8 - Enclosure size: 8'4" Width x 8'4" Height
Sig 10 - Enclosure size: 10'10" Width x 8'4" Height (too wide for my area)
Should I try to do something more custom to fit the space or am I wasting my time doing that? I'm not quite sure how the projectors fill space that isn't one of the standard aspect ratios.

How deep is the space? Will heavily influence how crowded it feels and may limit what type of monitor you can use.

The room width is 12’10”. The length (front to back) is 16’4”.
The front where the opening for the simulator is just weirdly shaped with columns on each side. Making the width smaller than the rest of the room.
I would put the enclosure on the back wall but ceiling height slopes from back to front so I likely would not be able to swing driver if enclosure is at back wall due to my height at 6’5. And being 8-9’ from screen.

You have a LM yet? I have a launch pro I’m about to put for sale. Ended up getting two. Long story.

I’d mount the screen directly to the wall and not go with an enclosure. I’d do a 9x8 set up. You should be able to run something close to 4:3 off that.

Just put something up for wall protection? Or hang nets?

I do not have one, but im in DFW.
I like the uneekor mini lite. Did not get a chance to demo the Launch Pro.

Gotcha. I’ll be putting it on a launch pro group in a couple of days. Has the subscription till April 15th I want to say. I’d be willing to ship. I haven’t tried the EML but I’ve heard good things. I was between the two. But I’d like the ability to take it to the range. So I went BLP.

Yes you’d put up padding for carpet for wall protection. Looks much nicer and cleaner than a cage
