Shreveport area courses— condition report request

I’ve got a yearly golf/gambling trip to Shreveport coming up in a few weeks and would like input on course conditions and recommendations to play. We have a group of 16 that have been making a Fall trip for several years and we usually play Southern Trace, Eastridge and Stonebridge. Due to the date we selected, it appears we are going to miss out on Southern Trace and possibly Eastridge this year, thus, we are trying to find replacements.
One of our planners has heard that Huntington Park and Querbes are in great shape since the old superintendent from Eastridge is now with the city. Are those courses decent options? We have used Northwood Hills as a replacement once but it was not very good.
As a last resort, only because of the hour drive either side of Shreveport, we could play either Squire Creek or Tempest, but some of this crew will have withdrawals being that far from the casino.
Anybody played Huntington or Querbes lately? Thanks.

There's this guy on here that can tell you about the condition of any golf course. I think his handle is something like Butt9Bandit.

You could play Squire or a Muni and squire is the fall back? Jesus

I’d probably come south and play Bayouside CC in Napoleonville, Bayou CC in Thibodaux, Sugarland CC in Raceland if still open, and finish off the weekend at Fashions CC near the DOW plant off 3127 between Chackbay and Norco, I’m a member at all 4 if you need a reciprocal.
But if you are gonna be that far north just play Squire as many times as allowed.

Stonebridge is in great shape. Can't comment on Q or H, haven't played them lately. Do not go to Northwood, whatever you do. Tempest is in great shape also.

As mentioned in the original post ... Only because some of the group doesn’t want to drive that far.

Please keep Dancing Rabbit in mind if you are looking at future trips! We have 2 Fazio/Pate golf courses, 2 beautiful casinos and a Sports Book! Depending on the time of the year we may have our Bet & Play promotion going with the Sports Book, which gives your guys a $30 green fee with a minimum bet.

I’ve got friends who’ve been playing both city courses the past couple of months and they say they’re both in very good shape. The very wet spring and most of summer(til mid August) have helped most of the courses up here. Crooked Hollow might be another option as well. Like a previous poster stated...Stonebridge is in very good shape right now.

Querbes and Huntington are in really good shape for those courses. But they’re still muni tracks and very uninteresting.
Unless y’all are just not that into the golf and are only using it as an excuse to see some sunlight during a long casino trip, Squire is the answer here.

Well, we managed to avoid Huntingon and Querbes. We are set for Stonebridge, Eastridge and Squire. I was pushing hard to add Tempest over Squire just because we’ve all played Squire several times (a couple guys in the group are members), but logistically it is just a lot easier to add it. Thanks for the earlier responses.

Going to Shreveport next weekend and looking for recommendations on where to play, considering anywhere in the general Bossier/Shreveport area. Only have time for one round. I can get my pro to call a private course if thats what I need to do
TIA
