2.5 hours to play 18

I play FAST. Anyone here who has played with me can verify, and there’s at least one.

I step up and hit. If I’m next to putt I’m usually at my ball with practice stroke done while previous putt is still rolling. Ready golf all day long. Tee goes in ground while last guys drive still in air. Hell, I usually get out the cart while it’s still rolling lol.

3 +/- a little change is what it usually takes us on an open course.

2.5 is definitely doable but no way it should be a MAXIMUM allowable. And I’m about the biggest pace of play freak there could be

over some 28 year old trying to raise a family?

"Hey sir, are you military, a senior or raising a family?"

I don't think there's much wrong giving the guy that probably only has 5-10 years max left of even having the ability to play golf a $7 price break.

No offense but I have been hearing that same old song for 40 years..

It's just a talking point for politicians. We can give Ukraine billions and waste more billions on failed green energy plans.

This got off topic, but the bottom line is if everyone lives long enough, you too will be able to enjoy Senior discounts on golf, movies and Whataburger.

Nothing kills a weekend like slow play. I agree, a foursome in a cart when it's 90 degree rule should never take longer than 3.5-4 hours. It's amazing what a good Marshal out on the course can do.

Once worked as a pro at a Country Club and we had an issue with 5 hour rounds. I hired 2 guys to marshal each side, and within six months, four hour rounds were the norm. It just takes people realizing they are ruining everyone's weekend by playing slow.
