Call it fate or luck, my dad called me this morning and said one of these Amazon thrift stores had 3 brand new Scotty Cameron Newport Select 2.0 still in the box. He bought one and I bought the other 2 for $140/each.

Just a little shite store in Hartselle, AL called Bargains USA.. They buy deep discounted Amazon returns and sell mostly junk in $1-$10 bins
Some guy tipped my dad off that they were getting some golf clubs. Turned out to be some Scottys.
They said they look up retail price of items and take 50% off to price it, so the Scottys had a sticker of $200(1/2 of $400). Today they were giving an extra 30% off so they were $140/each lol

Just put this in my bag. Have been playing with various types of Odyssey putters the past few years (Stroke Lab Seven, V-Line, etc.) and was ready for something "new"

Started playing with a blade and really was opposed to mallet putters simply bc it didn't feel right (odyssey 2 ball).
I was having a putting slump so went and tried some out. Ended up getting a Taylormade Spider (older model). I absolutely love it after getting the appropriate grip and shaft length.
Seems to be very forgiving for miss hits and very consistent with distance.
To each its own though....

If anyone wants a Odyssey Putter, I would suggest waiting until the new White Hot OG's hit the stores.

100% their best insert. Played my White Hot #6 for almost 15 years. Can't wait to try one of the new ones.
