Anyone have this simulator? Thoughts on it? What’s your setup?

I’ve had the mlm 2 for a few months and like it. The app has recently been updated and now allows for multiplayer mode on their simulated courses. The Callaway balls that come with it will show accurate spin rates but those balls are$$$. I bought the dot jit for the balls online and they hold up well. The app does shutdown randomly from time to time but that has gotten better with the updates. I use a net and TV outside under my carport. For the money I am very pleased with the MLM2. Chipping on the courses takes some getting used to but it’s not that bad. They have thousands of courses and are pretty accurate even though the graphics are not as good as e6 or TGC. There is no putting but there are customizable 2 and 3 putt ranges. You do get a trial of e6 and awesome golf which is nice but I didn’t feel the e6 membership after the trial was buying me more than what came with the MLM2. I tested mine with my friends mevo flightscope and the difference was negligible. I really like the in shot camera that shows your swing and also allows you to see the club at impact which is a really cool feature. It also gives range session analytics and saves them in the cloud for comparison.

I’m getting close to pulling th trigger on a simulator.
Can you use this one on iPhone and cast that to a smart tv?

Yes. It’s easy. Works with ipad and iphone. There is no PC option.

Of the 2, would you suggest the MLM or mevo?

That's a tough one man. The price points are very different if you are comparing the Mevo plus and MLM2. If you want range data with the ability to play simulated courses with smaller upfront and yearly subscription costs, the MLM2 is my pick. If you want a simulator with better graphics and don't mind the extra yearly cost of 600-800 with less analytics, the mevo plus is the ticket. The live swing camera for the MLM2 that shows your actual swing and the view that shows the club at impact is only on the MLM and not the Mevo (to my knowledge). All that being said, my friends and I play in simulator mode a bunch and the MLM meets our needs. The MLM also has some preset range activities that are OK but wouldn't factor into my choice of choosing it.

Yes. All you need is a lightning to hdmi adapter or a tv that supports airplay.

Thanks man. Much appreciated. I was thinking of doing the same. I don’t have space for a fixed simulator. Price on this one is spot on.

Yep. I bought a 50” on prime day and it’s easy as can be. I use the adapter to my ipad so i can listen to music from my phone. Full disclosure.. just played 16 holes at pebble and the app shutdown. First time in a dozen rounds. I will say they have made improvements over the last 3 months and again for the price i am happy.
