I've never re griped my own clubs before but im going to start doing it from now on. I can't find the typical "golf grip tape" at any store around town. Would I be able to make it work with some other kind of tape like poster tape and is there anything wrong with using no tape at all? I've got everything else I need.

Double sided masking tape is better than masking tape, but both work

I saw that on Amazon, but the reason I’m going around town is because there is no 3 day shipping on items like this right now. I have prime, and the free prime delivery says arrival on May 6th. So since I’m only doing 4 clubs or so right now, I won’t need the best tape out there.

Edit: saw dicks actually had individual strips for $5 each. I’m fine with that since I’m only doing a few clubs atm.

Other option is to blow them on using an air compressor. Works really really well.

I remember buying them from Academy once before. I think it was a 10-15 pack

That is next Wednesday. Are your old grips so bad that you can't get through 1 more weekend? Just a thought.

Oh my bad, I misread that as today Wednesday. It turns out Dicks had individual strips of tape in packs of 15 so I ended up getting them with the curbside pickup.

You can use rubber cement and masking tape. You don't really even need the tape.

Rubber cement feels like overkill

I use some thin carpet tape I bought from Lowe’s. Been using that for several years with no issues.
