I got a room at the Baymont by Wyndham. It had very good reviews. Regular price $85/night. Masters price $450/night.

T-Bonz! That was it! Lol
Even on a Sunday night the place was slammed to the walls with people.

What is the typical wait time on a Sunday night?

I've never done it on a Sunday, but a typical Friday or Saturday can be an hour or more, but it's an awesome experience, so you have to do it.

With all of the people in there, drinking while you're waiting, and the fact that EVERYWHERE is a shite-show that week...the wait goes by pretty quickly.

We need to create a list of people in town that week and see who wants to get together for a dinner.

Is there a decent uber or lyft service there?

I'm sure there is, but we've never used it. One of our guys doesn't really drink, so he always drives.

I would also imagine that those would be exceedingly difficult to get and expensive as shite if you did.

Who are you going with?

Gotcha. Yeah, that will make things a bit more challenging...unless he loves to party!

TBonz will be crazy. I think the Chop House there takes reservations, but you have to jump on that quick.

The wait wasn't that bad. They move people in and out of there quick. I think it was 45 minutes or an hour. Like the previous poster said, you can drink at the bar and take everything in and the wait goes by quickly.

We took an Uber from the hotel to anything non-golf course related. The rates really weren't that bad. For us not having a rental car and not knowing where to park, it was much easier to just get an Uber. Also, our hotel had free shuttles running to and from the golf course on all tournament days. A lot of the local hotels do this, as there is a designated pick up/drop off area at the course that is running shuttles all day long.

Right across the street from T-bonz is a strip center with Outback and Bonefish both will be busy...if eating on Sunday nite wait times are a lot shorter than say Wed. nite....the people that come in for practice rounds usually don't stay in Augusta due to high hotel prices...

T-Bonz was popular with the older generation pros back in 70-90's today most players are traveling with their own chefs and eating healthy meals with their "TEAM". Your chance of seeing a Pro golfer there is very low...but they have nice pictures hanging on the walls of past pros that have dinned there. Go see John Daley at his set-up at Hooter's he's very active in selling his gear.

We did an Airbnb in Martinez right off the interstate. Took us maybe 10 minutes to get to the course. Was very easy to get to and from. Was well worth the money
