Do you have to stay at the Pinehurst resort in order to play #2? I don't think I could make that trip and not play it.

Ok. so 1k with going out for dinner and drinks each night probably. that is still awesome. you could replace one of the three or add No 2 and still be in the 1500 range. That is incredible. trying to round up about 8 people to do it next year.

3 nights at Linville Gardens condo with 3 rounds of golf(Dormie, southern pines and tobacco) it was just under 700

ThatS a little better than what we are going for. Did the suite have two bedrooms. My cousin snores like a chainsaw so we need to be separated

You do not. If you stay at the resort #2 is a $200 upcharge to your package. Off site, it's $500. Tee times are harder if off site, like day before I think. Could be wrong. We actually did a 2 night 3 rounds of golf special - just tacked on an extra round for $100.

We did our trip for right at $3k a person (4 people) - give or take a little based on how much you drink and spend at the pro shops etc. This included:
2 nights at an Airbnb (2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each)
2 nights at the Holly Inn (hotel style with 2 queens in each)
Dinner both nights while at the Holly (drinks not included but are within that $3k I listed)
My pro shop spending
Rental Car
Flights to and from Charlotte
Golf at the following:
Tobacco Road
Pine Needles
Pinehurst #8
Pinehurst #9
Cradle
Pinehurst #2
Pinehurst #4

My post might need some clarification. The 2 night 3 round golf package was specific to Holly Inn (Pinehurst resort) and #8, #9, #4 and #2. Like I said, extra $100 to play a 4th round and the $200 up charge for #2. The Airbnb, Tobacco Road and Pine Needles were all done separately.

But the $3k captures everything on the trip (Pinehurst specific items and offsite items). Just wanted to make my post more clear if you try to book.

Yeah I figured but thanks for the confirmation.

What would you say the Pinehurst resort package part of the trip ran you? And was that set up directly through Pinehurst?

Directly through Pinehurst. I want to say my bill at check out was like $2100. Keep in mind everything I did on the Pinehurst property those two days went to my room. So all food, all proshop expenses, cradle, up charge for 2, upcharge for extra course, alcohol those days/nights, etc.

Awesome, all 4 of those courses plus cradle, proshop, food, and booze sounds very reasonable to me. Thanks
