I pretty much only watch golf on Youtube, but I still know that 1.42m subscribers would not make him the most successful content creator on Youtube.
And as stated above, Rick Shiels has almost 3m subscribers.
I am not even writing this to denigrate Bryson. What he has done with his image on Youtube is very impressive. I am just writing this to show that you are not "literally stating a fact".
