How are you adding these numbers?

I’m seeing 906k views compared to Bryson with 899k…

It was also live streamed on espn+ and peacock. You're looking at the total streams on youtube to date, which now sits at 934k. The peak live streaming on youtube only was 110k. I can't find any numbers for the peacock/espn+ streams. But I think it's fair to say that live stream views + total youtube views is "sitting at around a million views" to date

I think that's pretty damn impressive for something involving non-professional (sans Wesley Bryan) content creators that aired live in the middle of the workday on a Wednesday

Not sure why you feel the need to take a dig at content creators by posting what a 2x major champion professional golfer is pulling on youtube ,ike that somehow devalues how much content creators have grown in their space over the past several years. Oddly enough, outside of his break 50 series with Trump and John Daly, most of Bryson's most watched youtube videos are with content creators. I think we can also probably agree Trump would have drawn 10m plus if he was playing with Bryson or any other content creator.

I could be wrong, but I think “views” are just “views” whether it’s streaming live or after.

Similar to Pat McAfee’s show on YouTube every day. He may have 60k live views during streaming & later in the day he has about 350k.
It’s just total views

on youtube only, yes. But youtube isn't accounting for the peacock/espn+ streams. If youtube only is sitting at 934k currently, I don't think it's unreasonable to think if you added peacock/espn+ streams that they'd be sitting around 1 million views right now.

Not exactly. I watched on Hulu livestream Espn+ which would not be accounted for in YouTube views.

Oh calm down.
Bryson is now the most successful golfer on YouTube. It’s just weird that he would be left out of something celebrating content creators - maybe you weren’t aware that Bryson was making jokes about this himself when it was announced

They’re all aiming for the same goal to grow the game of golf to viewers on YouTube

Creator Classic Sitting at around 1m with Live stream viewers plus YouTube views.

live stream viewers as a collective includes espn+ and peacock, not just youtube. I don't think you realized it was also streamed on those platforms in addition to youtube.

he's one of the best golfers in the world. No it's not weird he'd be left out of an event like this. Even if he was still on the PGA Tour, he wouldn't have been a part of it. If Scottie Scheffler had a youtube channel, he wouldn't have been a part of it either

right, he was joking, as in not serious.

never said they weren't

he's a high-level professional golfer. Of course he's going to get more views than a scratch or worse amateur making content for youtube. It's you who feels the need to denigrate what a bunch of non-pros are drawing by comparing them to one of the best in the world.

Maybe we should just talk about the Good Good Desert Open since it wasn't affiliated with the PGA Tour whatsoever and that wouldn't send out your LIV white knight bat signal. They put this event on by themselves, streamed live on youtube/peacock, and had views on youtube of 1.4 million people.

Wish they would've invited Soly from No Laying Up. Not really a fan of any of these other than the Bryan Bros

Didn’t know it was a competition. Has to be grinding your gears that the PGA sponsored something cool like this and not your preferred “tour”.

Look I get people love to shite on me for posting stuff about LIV, but that’s not what happened here. I was simply posting about Bryson with no mention of LIV.

Another poster brought up LIV Greenbriar for whatever reason.

I've seen some of Shiels tournament scores and they weren't impressive ?

Sheils older stuff was more entertaining IMO. He would review new equipment and track balls speed, carry distance, spin, etc. He would also take crazy prototype and/or illegal clubs he finds online and would test them out on the range and course. He still does those but doesn't do as much of that type of stuff now. That used to be basically his entire channel.

Whatever the case, I believe his channel has more followers on youtube than any other golf content creator, so he's parlayed that into getting to play with some big names on his channel like Adam Scott, Bryson, Rickie, Tom Watson, etc. His "break 75" vids just don't do it for me. His best vids are ones like comparing the original big bertha to the Paradym

After watching a bunch of stuff from these YouTube golfers, admittedly from this year or so. I think I like these videos the most when they play with the pros. And the best couple imo have been the Horvat/Mickelson and the Shield/Poulter one. Mainly because of the pros talking through their shot thought process.

+2, you’d have been disappointed. She dresses very conservatively for tournament golf, no cleavage in sight.

Leaving one of the best players in the world out of a tournament of content creators seems weird to you?…..You’re an imbecile
