I tried to play there a couple weeks ago. We showed up at 8 to tee off, they said they were having a tournament starting at one. I said ok great we can get a round in before then. He informed me the course was closed the whole day. And they wonder why they are hemorrhaging money.

Why would you randomly show up at a course without a tee time? If you do, don't be upset if they already have something going on.

Spur of the moment. Other plans got cancelled the night before, so decided to try it out. I can live with not getting a tee time just walking up, such is life. But closing the course for the entire day on a Saturday when the tourney is only a half day is stupid. Especially when it is common knowledge they are having cash flow problems.

Greens are starting to get bad again. The course is playable but not a very good shape.
I play it maybe 2-3 times a month.

Quail hollow has turned to crap. The course is in really bad shape and that makes me sad because I grew up playing that course.

Played it Sunday afternoon.
Fairways are always really good.
Around the greens stay constantly wet. Never understood that.
And greens are starting to decline again.
They are still in okay shape. Just really slow. Layout of course is legit.
Overall 6/10 shape

I thought they were shutting QH down. Ashame because that course has a great layout. Greens have always been N issue, though.
