He spent 11 years in the desert. How can you not call that the greatest comeback in the history of sports?!?!

I’m no Tiger fan. I still personally think Jack is the GOAT.

But today was historical and nothing short of spectacular. Congrats to El Tigre. I was pulling hard for him.

Well deserved win!

Who was the guy in striped polo that was with Tiger’s kids? I know Steinberg was in the white polo, but not sure if I know who the one in the stripe polo is

No way

This tournament was given to him. Great win but not even close to an alll time great finish.

I was kind of pulling against him but he kept his head while the others wilted. He also did a good job of using his course knowledge to his advantage. Congrats to him, he earned it.

I think the way Tiger hit his driver was a major factor in his victory. I don't know that I ever saw Tiger hit it off the tee that well for four rounds.

You guys actually think this was an all time great finish? Ice man and mickelson was a great finish. This masters had guys throwing up bogey after bogey and nobody making putts coming down the stretch.

The best I’ve seen him hit driver and the worst I’ve ever seen him putt and he still won.

This.....if he putts even half what he's capable of he wins the tournament before he tees off on Sunday. People saying this is his last one and that he can't catch Jack Don't realize. Tiger should have won by ten strokes if he just makes half his putts inside ten feet that he missed.

Worst transition in sports:

Yep, going from Tiger and the thousands of screaming crazy fans chanting TIGER

To this quiet, reserved, and uncomfortable interview (I've never liked the Butler Cabin interview)

A good summary I just came across...

quote:

From 2008 to now we've seen Trackman, AI, HD super slow mo, bio mechanics and physio diagnostics, and computer designed golf equipment using materials previously dedicated to F1 cars and space shuttles. Everyone is in the gym, has a trainer, has a coach, has a nutritionist. The young guys coming out all have pefect swings, and maximize every practice session and equipment change using the data and tech listed above. The learning curve is almost non existent and there are clear blueprints to follow. The guys are bigger, stronger, better nourished, better trained, better coached, better prepared... Tiger created that.

Now Tiger comes back, patched up, different swing, different routines, different body, less tools... The 3rd generation of the game he's competed in. And he's contended in the British, the US Open, the PGA, the Players, won the Tour Champ and Just won the masters against a murderers row of absolute assassins. And he did it on the strength of just 1 part of his game, his ballstriking with his irons. Yeah he sunk some long putts, and yes he drove the ball well for the most part... But his putting was pretty sub standard and his short game was average. A guy who had 1, maybe 2 tools working in his tool box just beat a field of modern monsters he is responsible for creating. He makes a few of those shorter ones he missed from the 1st few days and this thing isn't even close going into the final round.

Rod McNamara, the VP of his company, is the one you're asking about.

This is golf, not football.
