this one man per cart stuff is speeding up pace like it's nobodies business. Even when its busy it's 1/2 as many golfers due to lack of carts.

Played 9 today in 1.5 hours...however, the greens were super fast and 3 putted 5 of the nine and shot 46.

Now if we could get the clubhouse open for cards, sandwiches and beers for after round relaxing, that would be even better.

Cheers

I am taking it one step further.

To avoid the pin and cup, once my ball is on the green, I am playing to the nearest old cup position.

My scores have plummeted!!

Luckily mine had a little window so you can get a card and drinks. Just no outside seating but I chill in the cart.

Short games are gonna look a bit different when we return to normal.
Playing on crazy fast greens with everything being a gimmie these days...
Gonna be able to lag it close, but may not be able to tap it in, lol.

I will add, some courses up here closed for a week or so before "essential" was being worked out. That off time allowed the courses to grow in a bit, get punched and worked on. That off time has made the conditions for early spring golf up here the best in my memory.

Playing with my baws at Briarwood GC at noon. While the one man per cart rule has sped up play it has definitely cut down on the ball busting, which I miss.

Fore!!
