MGS Review

For those of you that suck at driving the ball, you'll soon be able to hit it "on the screws" like the rest of us.

Not alot of information out there yet. Simply for you TM baws. Ill be interested to see if they bring the Jawface Hammerboner tech back or not.

Just a weighted screw? Is it a slot for a longer weight like Titleist? Is it the ends of something like a horizontal “jailbreak”? None of the above and just a gimmick? One of the above and still a gimmick?

You'll have to buy it to see what's in it

If anyone hits the ball where those screws are located, you're fricked. A screw won't save you.

I wonder if these will be weighted screws, to the likes of the weights on the bottom of some putters, interchangeable...

I’m wondering if that’s just ports for them to inject speed foam behind the face. That way they could make a super thin face and then have it supported by the foam to keep it from cracking.

Either way it doesn’t matter to me the last good driver I had from TaylorMade was my 07’ Burner, actually took it out this weekend for a round. Just wish I would have bought the TP version because that closed face irks the shite out of me now.

Don’t hate me to much, it was muddy AF and I didn’t play well.

It’s not as good as the M1 440 head for sure,
I’ve hit both, looks better than the Epic Flash.

M5 - $549
M6 - $499

Has TM has lost their damn minds for asking that kinda money for their drivers?

So their "story" is that Taylormade produced an illegal driver and then had to create two ports to inject resin...in order to SLOW DOWN the face and bring it back to conforming standards?!

ok.

Might as well just buy PXG's Gen2 for $575 if you're looking to spend stupid money on a driver.

Whether that’s what they really did, nobody knows

But there are absolutely illegal faces that surpass COR rules, so it’s not impossible that’s what they did
