Titleist made a 913 five years ago but surely you aren't comparing it to the new drivers out right now

Surely you don’t think there is a massive difference between current drivers and 5 year old drivers.

I have a 913 and a 917 and there is a big difference. Even with the same shaft. That is a fact. I only bought the 917 after I hit them side by side on a launch monitor

Massive difference? No. But there is a difference. MOI haso been maxed out for years now but there are other ways to improve a driver

I'm still hitting the G30 Coach. It's only a year or two old and at almost 50yrs old I can still hit it 280. I doubt I change drivers anytime soon but it sure is nice window shopping.

Go watch Rick Shiel’s videos where he compares 5 years worth of drivers from the major manufacturers. Really no difference for someone with a consistent swing.
