I shot my best round of the year last Tuesday, at Bayou Bend. 77 with one birdie and one double. I putted like a mad man! when I got on the green, I sank the putt. Second round with my Tour Edge iron-woods and hit them really well. I couldn't play most of this year due to back issues. Felt good just to play.

A comment: Low expectations seem to bring out the best golf sometimes.
A question: what do you like most about the 521 iron woods? Did you go 5 iron through Pitching wedge?

I agree, low expectations sometimes lets us relax and enjoy whats happening. I like the ease of the swing, the club head seems to drop into the slot. Very easy to hit them straight.
I have the 5 through 9, I have wedges I'm quite fond of.
Also noticed about a club longer than what I was hitting.
I'm 71 yrs young and the clubs along with a new bag were my Christmas and birthday gifts. I showed them to my wife when they came in, she had no idea that's what she bought!

75 is my low too. Couple of years ago. Had 4 birdies that day. Those helped A LOT.
