My nephew wants to go tour the school next summer (IDK why)
What's the golf situation out there? I would like to play while in town, and he's touring the campus.

There’s a course at Sam Rayburn that’s supposed to be decent.
Just go play bentwater and tell him to meet you in Conroe when he’s done

Played the Weiskoff course at Bentwater last month. Good shape and a good layout.

Go play Pine Dunes in Frankston, about an hour away. One of the best public courses in Texas and a steal of a green fee

Woodland Hills is the only course in town. Played it years ago. It wasn’t great but not terrible either. Crown Colony in Lufkin (about 30 min drive) is usually in great shape.
