You guys came through last summer with Destin recommendations (Regatta for the win). This year we are headed to Myrtle Beach. Please give me some recommendations.

- Caledonia is incredible if you don't mind dropping a bit of cash for one of your stops. Kinda touristy, but worth it.

- Heritage Club was nice, had big beautiful sloped greens, and a great value everything considered.

- Avoid Litchfield nearby. Super tight shorter course that is nothing but doglegs that you can't cut, so you're just aiming at the 150 marker with a hybrid or something for every tee shot, unless you're into that kind of thing.

Those are the 3 courses I've played so now my golf trip buds know my username if they didn't already

EDIT. meant Heritage Club, not the Tradition. I don't know anything about the Tradition

Thanks fellas. I will begin researching the courses you guys suggested. I've always heard that Myrtle Beach was legit for golf.

Mystical Golf has 2 courses on property- The Wizard and Man o' War. The Dunes is pricey, but a great track.

Arcadian Shores is good value for the money.

This is the only place I have played in Myrtle and I agree. Nice course.

I know people like The Witch.

Will you be staying on south end or north end of beach?

South end: Caledonia, True Blue, TPC, Reserve, Pawleys, Willbrook ... there are several others

North Stand: Barefoot, Grand Dunes, The Dunes, Farmstead, Tidewater, Surf Club, Crow Creek

There are plenty of great courses in the area.

Rates go down around Memorial Day

We are heading there Memorial day weekend. I have no idea where we are staying. Just the beginning stages of planning. Thanks for the info.

Legends Golf Resort offers 5 different golf courses, 3 on site and 2 remote (1 in Pawley's Island) and they have probably the best package deal on the Grand Strand. I think last year when I went with a group in June it was about $330/person and included 3 nights at a condo, 4 rounds of golf (Moorland, Heathland and Parkland which are all on the resort, we played one twice) and you also get a ticket for free breakfast, lunch and 2 beers every day. The golf courses are all really nice.

Beans years but played Barefoot Love and Fazio, both nice. Was told after Dye was the best of the bunch.
Also played Rivers Edge in NC. Nice course but can be challenging.

Was there in December and played (ranked)
1. The Pearl 27 holes
2. Burning Ridge in Conway
3. Beachwood - older course in GREAT shape. Have to work the ball and hit golf shots.
4. Eagles Nest - Fun layout, but not in great shape at the time.
