Montauk State Downs

Just wrapped up a wedding weekend in Montauk, NY. Played Montauk State Downs twice. The course has been ranked in the top 10 public/municipal golf courses in America for a while. The golf course is 73.5/140. It’s not very long but the fairways are very narrow and greens are the definition of postage stamp size. Was amazing to play golf in sweater weather one day and in a crisp 75 degrees the next.
Shot 79 the first day, +5 on the last two holes and 73 the next.
Really enjoyed this golf course. It’s definitely a full bag course which is another reason it’s ranked highly.
