Crazy that anyone watches LIV

The media manipulation regarding the LIV negativity will be in a curriculum soon.

They have done an amazing job making people believe top level professional golf isn’t golf.

We got grown men here that watch the LPGA, but it’s “crazy” that someone would watch a tour with Bryson, Rahm, Niemann, Koepka, Phil, DJ, etc

At least three of those six you just listed are washed. The PGA Tour has some great young talent that may not have the names (yet) but are better golfers. Phil? DJ? Keopka? Cmon man who gives a damn.

You guys keep overlooking one crucial detail. It’s not that LIV doesnt have names. It’s that the format of LIV and the entire production feel like a gimmick.

And those names have to start producing in majors or the noise that LIV isn’t real tournament golf will only get louder. Bryson is carrying the entire league.

Reed and Bryson were top 5 at Augusta.

Bryson won the last US Open.

& Koepka won a major the year before.
I guess a LIV golfer has to win at least 1 major every year to prove its “real” golf?

Yea if you read my post you’ll notice I said Bryson is carrying the league. Outside of him, they need to start making noise.

When one of your stars is openly campaigning for Niemann to be number 1 in the world but he can’t finish top 10 in a major it’s a tough look.

Look at rahm since going over there.

A whole 4 tournament sample size

Why did Rahm not have any T10s in 2022?

Well he went on to win the masters in 23.

The point is for as good as LIV has been for Bryson’s career it’s been equally as bad for rahm and even moreso for cam smith.

And I guess the bigger question for LIV is who is in line to replace these guys when exemptions run out or they just retire?

you can’t blame his move to LIV for 2024 if you’re not going to blame something else for 2022.

I’m sure there a tons of people that would love to be on that tour.

Considering 90 percent of the top players in the world are on the pga tour you sure you want to believe in that statement

I thought they were working toward “reunification?”

As far as who they might try to get, it’s Saudi money so IF they come at somebody, it will be a big offer.

The PIF was willing to invest 1.5 billion in PGA. Deal was turned down bc they wanted to keep LIV format going and have an executive position.

The offer would have valued PGA at around 12 billion. I guess they could offer 25 billion for the whole enchilada, but it’s probably not worth it when compared to high level soccer or NFL.

Maybe they will buy college football.
