Has anyone played the 2.0 yet? Supposedly solved the distance issue.

Also, rumor is they are releasing the 4 piece soon.
The Costco in Nola has the putter, wedges and golf balls in stock right now.

Costco sells Kirkland brand golf clubs? Did not know this. Will have to pick up some of the balls.

Costco in BR has the putters and wedges too. I recently bought the 3-piece ball 2.0 and it’s meh. Performance is fine and I didn’t see any loss in distance or spin but it didn’t feel great and the durability of the cover is bad. I’ve cut the cover on a few of them already with just a couple full wedge shots. You get what you pay for with these unlike the OG 4-piece they first came out with

Good to know. Hate to admit that durability isn’t ever an issue with me. I’ve only finished a handful of rounds without losing a ball.

I think they’re great...for $1 a ball.

My unscientific opinion is that they spin less, so the distance is better than the original. Idk about “solved,” but definitely better.

Unfortunately, one solid wedge and they’re irredeemably shredded.

Check out the rick shields demo of the wedges. They actually look legit. No clue on how long the grooves will hold up though.

Have been playing with the V1.0 for about 6 months now and think for $1/ball they are the best value out there. They are not Pro V's but still perform great. Biggest issue is durability as people mentioned but for $1/ball I can take that.

As for the Rick S. video on the wedges, that is what got me on them. I think I am going to buy the wedge set this spring and sell off my older worn wedges. I have only seen rave reviews on the wedges everywhere I look.

I hate Titleist for fricking them over on the OG 4 piece ball

Didn't they rip off Titleist? I don't remember the while story, but the OG 4-piece played like a ProV1, because it was one. I could be totally wrong though.

They did, it was overruns or something like that of ProV1s.

I’ve played two rounds with the wedge set. I was using a hand-me-down 56 degree before and could never get the ball to spin back. The Kirkland wedges were awesome to swing knowing the ball would stop quick or spin back.

Edit: I also play with the Kirkland balls. I just started about a year ago and got my first Birdie with a Kirkland V2.0 ball. I have absolutely no complaints considering they are $1 a ball.
