I have a very weird iron/wedge/ driver game.

Driver: 270-280 (this varies the most depending on wind, firm fairway, etc)
3 wood: 250-260
3 Hybrid: 235-245
4i: 195-205
5i: 185-195
6i: 175-185
7i: 160-175
8i: 150-160
9i: 135-150
PW: 120-135
AW: 105-120
52: 85-100

56...I flub anytime I try to hit over 65.

I was a 21 handicap to start the year. Only been playing for about 18 months. I’ve put in tons of time at the range and watching tutorials. Down to a 12.9. I listed sort of my max distances with my irons above, but I’ve learned it’s just a guideline. Lately I’ll club up a lot to hit a lighter shot.

For instance, I played Perdido Bay in Perdido Key yesterday. I was between 120-135 on probably 10 approach shots. I was hitting my PW horrible and kept screwing my shots up. So the last few holes I used my 9 for 130 and just did a smoother stroke with less torque, and I landed the green 2 out of 3 times and made pars on both. I think iron play is all about feel, reading the wind, knowing where on the green you want to land or where it’s ok to miss.

Just my two cents.

Lots of of guys play juiced clubs these days so i wouldn’t put too much stock in the info. I play with MP52s which are 1-2 degrees less than the normal modern standard iron.

4i-220
5-205
6i-192ish
7i-180
8i-165

Just played 9 at Audubon and on 3 holes my 9 went 150. I switched to ProV1 from Project A and this was my first round with them. Also I have taken 2 lessons and completely changed my swing in the past month. But 15 yards seems like a big jump from what I used to hit.

My 9 iron is 38 degrees.

Putting is still garbage.

63 yrs old with a bad left shoulder. Been struggling with a revamped swing because of shoulder. Finally starting to see some results from practicing. Shot 74 from the blues (6200yds) at Links on the Bayou in Alex. 36-38 with two birdies, dbl bogey and two bogeys, 14 pars. 27 putts which was fun. Clubs are old need to updated.

my numbers are similar to yours, but it all depends on the shot etc. i don't typically play full shots. i like to almost play a punch style shot at like 90% of full distance.
