Impact Screens

Looking for screens to build a bay. I found these 2 sites
LINK

Seems like most places have 3 different levels of quality. I was gonna go with the middle one. Not sure about aspect ratio, 4:3 vs 16:9 but I think the wall I’m putting it on is more setup for 4:3. It’s 10’x12’.
My question for you guys is what else should I be looking at? Are there any other sites, maybe with better stuff/prices? Pretty sure the higher in one would be overkill but maybe the middle one is too since it won’t take the amount of abuse of one at a business?

Impact screens are so loud.
Sounds like a fricking cannon in the garage.
Im looking for alternative.

Having just built a sim and done all the same research you are doing now go with the premium from Carls. It seems to be the most recommended. I have it and have no complaints.

Yeah, almost all I’ve seen, garage or not, have baffling some kinda sound deadening stuff on the walls. That’ll come later I guess lol

Just buy the best one, lol. That’s typically what I’d do. For once I was trying to be sensible and go with what was good enough. Thanks

I’ve heard of people using archery netting as an alternative.

The lesser the screen the more noise and bounce back you will have. If it’s a detached garage it might not matter but if it’s connected to the house you are going to want the quietest one possible.
Also a cheaper screen puts forward a much lesser image so if you ever wanted to add simulation you are going to have to deal with much lower quality.

Dammit, you convinced me. It’s connected to the house but it’s on the side with my office, guest bath & laundry. Wouldn’t think it would be loud enough to carry to my bedroom or the kids. Either way, I think I’ll take your advice just to quiet it down in the garage itself

Oh yeah, already got the simulator. If I wasn’t putting one, I’d be asking about “y’all think a golf ball can go through mosquito netting?” Lol. It’s been in the box for almost a month because I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to even look at it.

Didn’t even know what this was til I just looked it up. Basically looks like a more meshy impact screen. This may be good to have when I wanna move to the back patio. I’m trying to build it all in a way that’s easy to get outta the way when not used and decently easy to move somewhere else. Main thing is I’m gonna build a collapsible frame.

Just got my screen in last week. Went with the preferred screen from Carls.
