Don’t get fitted. When you start out your swing isn’t going to be consistent. I’d just get a regular set of game improvement clubs (used from Edwin watts or CallowayPreOwned.com) and work on your swing for a while.
I’ve been playing for 3 years and I still am not consistent enough with my swing to justify getting fitted in my opinion.
Have fun and remember “you’re not good enough to get angry” whenever you have a bad shot.
You've been playing for 3 years and don't feel like you can justify getting fitted? Out of curiosity what is your current handicap and how often do you play? If you play regularly and have been playing for 3 years it seems like you would be the ideal candidate for a fitting.

No one should be pissed. If this set inspires confidence, then that is a major PLUS. You need a set that when you address the ball, you feel confident that you are going to make good contact. Cobra makes good clubs.
Take lessons and enjoy. Greatest game ever invented.

Thanks, the shop I got it at gave me some free lessons while I was there. The whole time I thought it was my hands and shoulders causing my slice. Apparently I have a tendency to lift my left heel up a bit (right hander) when I swing. Dude asked me if I had a twenty on me and told me to put it under my left foot and if I raised it, then lunch was on me. I was amazed at how straight my shot went after that. I’m definitely gonna start investing in some lessons.
