Nice. Saturday I might have bopped one on the head with my tee shot

I'm going to have to start a post on Links on the Bayou coming up. Never played there either. It's basically right across the street right?

Pretty much. Very different courses IMO. Can't wait to comment

Nice. Decent shape?

I have played a ton of golf over the past 25 years but this tour has made me realize that I really haven't played that may courses in the state. I guess I just stick to my home course in Arkansas and a few here in Shreveport/Bossier.

Had to go to Arkansas to find a nice course because most of the courses around here have turned to crap.

Links is always in decent shape for a muni. Have you played Tamahka yet? It’s about $90 on the weekend, but easily has the best conditions in the area.

Not sure right now. March/April are probably my least favorite months there. May need some more warm days for fairways to fill out. And there's this:

FRONT 9 CLOSED TO AERIFY GREENS ON MONDAY, MAY 5, AND BACK 9 CLOSED TO AERIFY GREENS ON TUESDAY, MAY 6. RANGE CLOSED ON TUESDAY, MAY 6 FOR MAINTENANCE.

I didn't have too many complaints with them. There was one par 3 that went over a little valley that was the only one that stood out as shite. They at least rolled smooth.

Played my course yesterday which was my first time playing since last weekend and the clubhouse board said they were running 11'9 on the stemp meter. Safe to say I blew some past the hole.

Playing June 7th and 8th. Would love to get a practice round in but I doubt I will. Just looking at the website it looks like it's probably the nicest on the schedule (just based off the website). $415 seems pretty steep though for a 2 day tournament though considering it's a $90 green fee.

They were fine yesterday. Maybe a bit slow, but looked fine and no obvious issues.
