Try getting the shanks.
IMO, the shanks are the WORST that can happen to your swing. Frustrating. Embarrassing. The WORST.

I'm normally chill on the course, especially when it comes to misses but the shanks have put me in club in the water/snapping anger mode.
There is literally nothing worse, your swing can feel absolutely great and ZING, hozel rocket to the right.
Got them earlier this year at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky. Nearly ruined the greatest golf experience of my life.

For me, the only way I can overcome the shank is to get my weight very much on my heels throughout the entire swing.
Sounds ridiculous, but it works for me.
Strangely shanks can happen even at the most skilled level of golf.
It’s weird.
Reading all the theories of shanks confuses me, but keeping weight on heels gives me something to get my mind off of shanking.

We play trap bets on 9 and 18. I was 2 under (first time being under for a 9) going into 18. Drive was a little right but it was the proper miss. 60 yards to the green, shank it right. End up paring the hole thanks to a rare 1 putt. Ended up 5 over on the back that round.
The way we bet is a bit odd. I ended up winning the front 9 and the overall but with side bets, I basically broke even. So frustrating to light the front on fire like that and fall apart on the back.
